Rain, Rain, Go Away

For those of you who may not know, we here in Central Texas have received more rain than we know what to do with. So much rain that STAR Flight was dispatched 16 times and made 2 hoist rescues over Memorial Day Weekend.  

The devastation reaches far beyond Central Texas. More than 30 individuals have lost their lives in Texas, Mexico, and Oklahoma. That number is expected to climb as water levels drop. You can read the full KXAN and CNN news stories here.

As I'm writing this post, the sun is shining and the birds are chirping. But the forecast is calling for more rain... 

There is nothing we can do to control the weather. There are however ample opportunities to provide assistance and help ensure the safety of all residents and pets. Below are a few organizations and groups requesting your time and/or donations:
